Our Leadership
Rich Sypniewski
CEO, Founder
Rich began his career with Arthur Andersen in Chicago working with a variety of clients across the globe in the ever changing business climate of technology innovations, systems deployments, process changes, to mergers and acquisitions. Raised by a single parent on the South Side of Chicago attending public school and working part time to pay his way through college. Rich attended Northern Illinois University and later to graduate with his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Rich created SAGIN in 2008 at the height of an economic recession. When Rich is asked why he did this he often says, "I didn't come from privilege, my father taught me the importance of an education, experience and hard work. I wanted to create a firm that brings these values in the services we provide and build lasting relationships with our clients".
Rich has lived in the City of Chicago all his life and is committed to the causes of Human Rights, Creative Arts, the fight against Aids and the Environment. He is a member of the Executives Club of Chicago, AICPA, APICS, ILCPAS, NLGBTCC and several social and cultural institutions. He is a cook, entertainer, triathlete, gardener, scuba diver and loves to travel to experience new cultures and countries. Rich has also rode his bike in the Aids Life Cycle Ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles twice.
